Transforming Senior Home Care

Dignity Care - Senior Home Care - owner

Dignity Care is a homegrown business in Boulder.

In the 1990’s, Mary Kirk, a registered dietitian, began caregiving for family and relatives. Her husband, Ged, offered a companion travel service for the elderly and disabled. Together they established Dignity Care, LLC in 1997 as a homecare business with just two caregivers and a home office.

As demand for homecare service increased, Mary recruited additional caregivers, but always with an emphasis on the compassionate, respectful, personalized care that was Dignity Care’s trademark. Mary created her own approach to senior home care, unique in this area.

With this dedication and passion to provide the best caregivers in the Boulder County region, Dignity Care has continued to grow and in 2009 became licensed as a Class A homecare provider.  We specialize in using Certified Nursing Assistants on our teams so we can bring you the skill and experience you deserve.

We offer
Daily / Personal Care
, Nursing Services and Geriatric Care Management
for an entire continuum of care.
You can start with a small amount of care and we will stay with you as your needs change.

While our caregivers are out in our clients’ homes, the administrative and support staff work from a beautiful office space in north Boulder.  We rely on telephones, mobile technology, a detailed scheduling system and 24hour availability to respond quickly and accurately.

We take great pride in always covering our shifts and are dedicated to our clients’ comfort and convenience. Our emergency system ensures that every shift is covered, whether it be a weekend day, middle of the night, or major holiday.

Dignity Care has a remarkable record for providing reliable caregiving services.

We select our caregivers for their big hearts and willingness to work and help. The motto is ‘heartfelt’. Caregivers are matched to clients through personalities, interests, and backgrounds.

Dignity Care values the nature of consistent, deep personal relationships. We know these personal relationships are essential to the health and well-being of our clients.

There is much more to care-giving than just providing the essential physical services.
